Where did the name "Free Travel Books" come from?
When we decided to make all three books available as a 'Bali Trilogy' on a single readable CD-ROM, among the other decisions that needed to be made was how much to charge. We knew that a well-written travel guidebook sells for about $20 but we also knew that it wouldn't be right to charge $60 for a CD-ROM even though it contained three excellent books. So we decided to charge about what one book would cost and include the other two books on the CD-ROM anyway, as if they were 'free'.
